As was typical, Wendy rushed in to lunch; the only reason she remained fairly slim was because she ran around a lot and even did acrobatics, not because she retrained herself in anay way while eating, or had an overactive metabolism.

Draven went of course to the Slytherin table. He kept his eyes down, reading his book, intersper'sed with thinking about the Thestrals. It was a great weight off his mind to discover that they were real.

Collette who was reading an English dictionary looked up and caught sight of Wendy, she gave a grin and a wave.

"Whatcha reading?" Wendy asked the French girl curiously.

"The dictionary, I'm searching for my word of the day," Collette replied, patting the seat next to her which was empty. "Maybe you can help? I can't decide."

"How about 'antidisestablishmentarianism'?" Wendy suggested.

"Antidesria-" Collette struggled to Pronounce Wendy's suggested word and she bang to flick furiously through the dictionary looking for some assistance. "I don't believe I have come across this word before," she finally concluded, after several minutes of flicking,

Wendy took the dictionary and found it for her. "Anti- dis- establishment- aria- nism!" she said, breaking the word down for Coillette. "It means your against the taking down of establishments, and originally surfaced with the whole separation of church and state issue, I believe. The antidisestablishmentarians didn't like the church being separated form the 'establishment', I guess, or perhaps they thought that, with its connection to God, the curhc was the 'establishment'. Take your pick, i'm a lil' vague on the details."

Surprise, surprise; Wendy actually knew something. XD

Collette looked thoughtful, "how very strange," she murmured. "Perhaps I shall be able to use it in a sentence one day and everyone shall think me very clever indeed for knowing of such a complicated word."

Wendy giggled. "I've been trying that same thing for a long, loooong time, but that word's hard to use," she said.
