Pyotr arrived a little after Collette, and caught her in the middle of one. Poor kid dind't know what to think. XD

Draven arrived last of all, wearing his familiar scowl.

Collette attempted an upside down wave at Pyotr but fell into a heap. She stood up and grinned."Whoops."

"Are you alright?" Pyotr asked quietly, looking mildly concerned for her having fallen.

"Fine, I fall down all the time. Thing is it means all my clothes get really dirty, really quickly and 'ladies aren't supposed to have dirty clothes'," Collette frowned momentarilly, clearly disagreeing with this last statement.

Pyotr actually chuckled. "I know what it's like to defy stereotypes, trust me; all Beauxbatons students are supposed to be graceful and... polite? No, what's a better English word... I guess I'm trying to say they're supposed to be formal-ish and have a lot of ettiquette, but I can't seem to think of a good word. You do handstand when no one's looking and scoff at lady-like mottos. Supposedly, Dursmstrang students are supposed to be all toughness and brawn, are we not? And here I am, a bookish nerd!"

The judges arrived at the moment, and the weighing of the wands officially commenced.

Draven was up first; his wand was fifteen inches long and made of ebony with a dragon heartstring core. It was weighed and tested by making it shoot a shower of sparks, and declared to be in perfect working order.

Collette continued her conversation with Pyotr in a whisper, "Everyone who came last time told us that the students who went to your school were really competitive and big and muscly and stuff. Isn't it funny that both of us don't really fit in and we still get chosen to be champions?"

Professor Dippet was getting a bit impatient with Collette and Pyotr for whispering when Collette was supposed to be up on the platform getting her wand weighed; however, he asked their headteachers to tell them off, rather than doing it himself.

Headmistress Chantal's eyes flashed, and she said, "Collete, fermez la bouch et presentez votre baton! Maitenant!" Her reputation for being fierce and stern wasn't unfounded in the least.
