"Then what is it? You can tell me, I'm good at keeping secerets," Collette assured the Hogwarts champion.

"I'm not about to tell you anything. We're not friends, so don't even think of asking me," Draven replied, stiffly.

They were nearly at the staircase which led down to the Slytherin and Hufflepuff common rooms. The corridor at the bottom turned to the left towards the lake, which the Slytherin common room and dormitories was under, and to the right to the Hufflepuff cellar where their common room and dormitories was.

"Hpw about if I tell you a seceret?" Collette asked, "then we'd be even."

[Miranda_]

"I'm going to my common room now," Draven said. "Don't bother trying to follow me, cuz I'll hex you if you do."

Collette's pulled a disappointed face. "Goodnight then," she said.

Without another word, Draven walked down the stairway and turned left to take the corridor to the Slytherin common room, where his housemates were already celebrating.

Pyotr left Collette with a quietly mumured "'night." He had no idea what sort of reaction he'd get from his school.

"Goodnight," Collette smiled at Pyotr, and stood alone for a few minutes contemplating what the reaction to her being selected would be. She hoped it was good.

*next day*

It was back to normal as far as school went; however, the champions were to go to the room behind the Great Hall after lunch for the weighing of the wands. This was important as for the first task, which was to be in a month's time, all the champions could take with them was their wands so they had to have wands in perfect condition.

Collette turned up a little early and in order to busy herself decided to practice her handstands against the nearest wall.
