The Triwizard Tournament {Repost}

Collette and time to see the mixed reaction the the Hogwarts champion befhind her. She had never spoken to Draven but she was surprised at the booing. If it were her school's champion she would be cheering no matter who was chosen.

The students in the hall were dismissed and told to go to their common rooms. Dippet and the other headteachers then went to the door themselves.

Pyotr was twiddling his thumbs nervously, and he still looked white as a ghost. He was avoiding the eyes of everyone around him.

Collette stood quietly, something of a miracle, a few meters away. Although she wanted to talk she didn't want to make a bad impression on those running the tournament in case someone else got chosen to replace her.

Professor Dippet explained a few things about the tournament, such as the fact that now they were all entered, they were magically bound to continue til the end. Then he told them about the first task.

"The first task will take place in about a fortnight," he said. "Since part of being a Champion is courage in the face of the unknown, we will not be telling you what it is."

"Not telling us," Collette was shocked, "oh my."

How on earth do you prepare for something when you've no idea what it is? Pyotr thought.. He especially didn't like being bound to finish like that... he hadn't really wanted to be chosen in the first place.

"What do we do then?" Collette squeaked. "What if we're completely under-prepared and we get eaten and gobbled and crunched and scrumpled...or something like that?"

[Miranda_]

"Nothing like that will happen," Dippet said. "Everything will be checked over and ensured so that the contestants are safe."

Draven gave Collette a scornful look. "Why bother to even come here, if you're going to be a coward?" he muttered, just loud enough for her to hear.

Professor Dippet then said, "You are now dismissed; I'm sure that your fellow classmates will want to celebrate with you. We will meet back here sometime next week so that your wands can be examined."

Collette pulled a sad face at Draven, unfortunately for him she latched onto his arm before he could leave. "Why am I a coward? Why am I a coward?"
