"Oh, how horrible," Wendy said. "Do- do you mind telling me what really happened that night?"

[Miranda_]

"Not really," Ty replied. "What do you want to know, specifically?"

[spirit_queen]

"I just wanted the hear the whole thing from your side," Wendy told him.

[Miranda_]

"There's not really much to tell," Ty replied. "I just happened to be in London; I was heading towards the entrance to Diagon Alley to go to Gringotts when suddenly I heard screaming. So I ran towards the screaming, and it was this old lady screaming at two witches and a wizard. They apparated almost at once, but one of them I think Confunded the Muggle, cuz she immediately started accusing me of being one of them. Then the Ministry Aurors arrived and arrested me."

"Oh, so it was just horrible coincidence," Wendy said, wincing in sympathy.

[Miranda_]

"Pretty much," Ty replied. "Just malign chance that I happened to be there. I thought at the time that they were attacking the old lady, but now I think they were trying to steal something, perhaps from Gringotts."

"Wonder what the official papers say," Wendy muttered, then shrugged. "Not like I'd ever be allowed to see." She made herself a cold sandwich, then said to Ty, "Go ahead and make yourself comfortable until you hear my parents; I mean, you obviously know things like windows and being a kitty when you go outside, because you're smart because Michelle had to get it from somewhere... er, not that I'm implying your wife isn't smart- oh, I'll just shut up now."

[Miranda_]

"It's alright, I get what you're saying," Ty replied. "The official papers would be inside the Ministry, probably in the archive, but it would be hard for anyone to get in there who wasn't working there. Unless, of course, they could look like someone who did."

"Oooohhhhhh!" Wendy said, her gray eyes lighting up. "But I couldn't go as mum."

[Miranda_]

"Not that I'm encouraging you to do anything against the rules, mind," Ty said, with the ghost of a grin.

"But if you took the form of one of the many anonymous office workers, who's to know? Of course, if you were to take anyone with you, you'd have to make Polyjuice Potion for them. It's a very complex potion that takes about a month to make but it'll transform anyone into an exact copy of another person for an hour."
