Wendy hummed and sang as she packed; Michelle still had her father with her in the Ravenclaw dorms, she she didn't have to worry about stepping on a tail as she literally danced her belongings to her trunk.

Michelle planned to give the cat back to Wendy in the morning. No-one would query such a thing; a lot of the time friends in different houses would lend items of clothing, pets or other such things.

Wendy felt truly bad for Michelle, but, yet, it was for the man's safety that he stay with Wendy for the time being.

Michelle was dreading the parting; however, she too knew it was for the best. Her mother would be in horrible trouble if her father was found at their home. She had already spoken to Wendy about her friend sending coded messages by owl to update her on how her father was.

Wendy would resume calling him "Tibs" as a code/pet-name when he went to live with her, so her parents would suspect nothing.

Then again, it was doubtful they'd notice him, aside from the sudden need of a litterbox.

*next day*

Everyone rushed around, getting ready to go to the station. The carriages were waiting for the students, to take them there along with their trunks and pets.

It was a sort of organized chaos that day as everyone had their things put away and filed onto the train to be taken home from Hogwarts.

[Miranda_]

Nashira was overexcited; she was looking forward to going home, but had loved her first year at Hogwarts.

Draven still didn't like the Thestrals that pulled the school carriages, but he felt better about them now that he knew that they were real and not just a figment of his imagination.

Wendy, by design and not mere chance, was sitting next to Draven. "So... you see them?" she asked.

[Miranda_]

"Yes, that's right," Draven said. "They've always pulled the carriages, but at least I know that they're actual creatures now."
