"I'll let you handle the money most of the time, in that case," Draven said.

"I will be honest with you; I don't know a thing about the Muggle world at all."

"That's fine! I'll help you through it," Wendy said, entirely confident that she could help him.

[Miranda_]

"I don't have any Muggle clothes, either," Draven said, as the thought just occurred to him.

"Oh! Um, we can get you some, but obviously they're stay at my house after you went home," Wendy said.

[Miranda_]

"Obviously," Draven replied. "My parents would burn them."

[spirit_queen]

"What a waste of cotton," Wendy said, shaking her head sadly. "Well, if you come to my house, you get to see me in my natural state... somebody asked me once how I know that's what I'm supposed to look like... but it's like, like a pigeon always knows where home is; you don't know how you know, you just know. Naturally, I'm sorta ginger-ish, with boring gray eyes."

"And you can come to my house, and see me in mine," Draven replied.

"You probably won't like it, but you'll get to see the house."

"You probably read al day, right?" she guessed; there was no condemnation in her voice. Well, there was a bit of a giggle, but Wendy was always giggling, so this was hardly offensive.

[Miranda_]

"That's right. I mostly spend time in the library. I do my holiday homework, and I study whatever task my parents have set me over the holidays," Draven replied.

"When they're away, they'll probably have me read up on the theory of whatever it is; it would be a bit risky for me to practice the practical when there's just Grandma in the house. By the way, the Trace only applies to Muggleborns or halfbloods; it doesn't apply to purebloods. The Ministry expect pureblood parents to keep their kids from practicing magic."
