"Really? I've never been out of Russia," Pyotr said, tugging at his red robes. He felt like all the Durmstrang students stuck out among the black robes of the Hogwarts students.

[Miranda_]

The Beauxbatons students stuck out as well, in their powder blue robes. Their robes were also thinner, and when it got colder, that would no doubt be a problem.

"Until now, of course," Dulce said. "Obviously, I didn't go with the Hogwarts delegation to Beauxbatons cuz I wasn't old enough."

"I'm sorry," Pyotr said politely. He was trying various sweets and kept asking everyone what they were called. XD

[Miranda_]

Dinner was to be a bit later than normal cuz it was to be a feast of massive proportions. So after lunch, there was plenty of time for the foreign students to nap if they so wished. Faina certainly did; she was yawning all thru lunch so as soon as it was finished, she went back to the ship for a nap.

Pyotr left for the ship as well, deciding that getting a short rest would be in order; he was still tired from travelling.

The Hogwarts students were left to enjoy a day of leisure; this day and Sunday would be their last chances to do so before the term started in earnest. There was a Hogsmeade visit fixed for the Sunday; the third year and up would be allowed to go to visit the village of Hogsmeade, provided they had had permission from their parents. It was one of very few all wizarding villages.

Wendy, as always, looked forward to Hogsmeade.

Nashira had asked Wendy to get her some sweets from Honeydukes; being a first year, she wasn't allowed to go to Hogsmeade.

"Of course I will, and I'll tell you all about it, too." Wendy said, grinning at her dark haired friend.

[Miranda_]

"Oh goody," Nashira replied. "I heard that there's lots to see there, and that it's one of the only all wizarding villages in the country! Won't it be funny to go someplace where there are no Muggles?"
