Chantal agreed with Dippet; seven. Pyotr hadn't handled the grindylows all too well; he'd charged right into them because e'd gotten distracted.

Finally, Draven's scores were given out. Professor Dippet gave Draven a nine; despite coming back second, he had dealt with the grindylows in a very efficient manner and had demonstrated excellent use of the Bubblehead charm. Professor Jaska gave Draven a nine as well; after discussing the events with the chief of the Merpeople, he had been impressed by the way Draven had dealt with the grindylows. This had undoubtedly accounted for the delay.

Chantal outdid herself; ten. The spell had been flawless, the grindylows taken care of quickly and efficiently, and he'd done it all within the time limit. In her mind, he only came in second because Pyotr had rushed the whole affair.

This meant that at the end of the second task, the scores were as follows: Draven with fifty four points; Pyotr with forty six and Collette with thirty five. The final task was fixed for ten days ahead, due to the OWLs coming up near the end of term and having priority.

Pyotr muttered darkly to himself, something to do with people being 'unsympathetic' and 'no hands'. Bu he pushed his bad mood aside for now.

The final task would be a maze, which would be set up over the next ten days on the Quidditch pitch. Draven would go into the maze first, then Pyotr, then Collette; tho it was anyone's game as there would be hazards set up within the maze to test the Champions. The winner of the cup would be whoever got to the centre first.

Pyotr was glad for the break period before the next test.

Wendy, when she'd seen that the people taken and needing to be rescued were the people the Champions held most dear, had gone green with envy, and had to fight to hide it; she genuinely liked Dulce, but she had the man Wendy wanted.

That sort of feeling was utterly new to the girl, and she shoved it down with alarm; Wendy wasn't typically the sort of person to get seriously jealous, nor was she spiteful or sullen. She was open, she was bubbly, and she loved people.

But there it was; she was jealous of Dulce.

It was ironic that Wendy felt that way, cuz Dulce and Draven were just good friends, and always had been.

Wendy decided to let her herself settle some before congratulating Draven on his good score and instead went to go see Michelle.

Michelle was sitting outside studying. She had watched the second task, at least, as much as she could given that with the rest of the students she was sitting outside the lake and could not see what was happening inside of it.
