"Cats are both cute and fierce," Wendy said. She concentrated, then murmured the spell, changing Ty's eyes to a more feline shade of green. "There! If you want, I could give you a white muzzle or something, to make you even more... er... different than the description."

[Miranda_]

"Anything you can do will be helpful. I'd have to change back into my cat form first tho, before you do that."

Wendy giggled. "Of course! Don't want to give you a white nose!" She paused. "I'll sneak in to the kitchens later and ask the House Elves here to provide you regular meals... hey, most cats are mildly lactose intolerant... are you when in cat form, or does your stomach still process food like a human stomach?" Wendy asked.

Ty replied, "Yeah, being a cat doesn't make any difference to that."

He looked around the common room. "Seems strange being inside the Hufflepuff common room," he said. "Never been here before. I was a Slytherin, when I was at school here."

"I find it silly how the encourage this rivalry thing; I have lots of friends in other Houses..." Wendy said. "Your daughter's one of them. She's a Ravenclaw. She helps me with my studying."

"That's not surprising; kids aren't always sorted into the house where their parents were when they were at school," Ty replied.

"My wife Daphne was a Gryffindor."

Wendy gasped. "Ooooh! The big rivals! How'd you two end up a couple, then?" Wendy asked, her gray eyes sparkling.

[Miranda_]

"Well, Daphne had had a crush on me for a while, but I didn't know that," Ty replied.

"In fifth year, after the house Quidditch final where I was captain of the team and playing Chaser, Slytherin beat Gryffindor when our Seeker managed to get the Snitch practically a split second before the Gryffindor Seeker. Daphne came on to the field after to congratulate me and we started dating.

"Yes, it was difficult at first; neither of our housemates approved, but when they saw that we were in love, they eventually came round to the idea."

"Awwwwwwwww," Wendy gushed. "How sweet!" She paused. "Maybe sometime, when you look more... healthy... I can find a way for you and Michelle to meet."

"I'd like that very much. I haven't seen Michelle since she was very young."
