Pyotr, of course, was with Faina. He wore a traditional Russian-style robe in red with tan fur trim. With it, he wore black trousers and boots. He'd feared that he'd look ridiculous wearing it, or that it would practically swallow him alive, but he in fact looked like a young prince wearing it; it seemed to bring out the strong lines in his jaw, and the intelligent glint in his eyes. For once, his curls didn't make him look baby-ish, but rather elegant instead.
For Faina, he got an charming corsage of white roses, baby's breath, and silver-and-white ribbon. When he put it on her, he very, very lightly kissed the back of her hand, making sure he didn't slobber; wouldn't do to turn something intended to be romantic into something nasty. Wendy arrived with a Durmstrang student named Nikolai, whose nickname was Kolya. Wendy didn't really understand how you could get 'Kolya' from 'Nikolai', but figured it had to be a Russian thing. Anyways, she thought him to be cute and funny, two very important things in her book. She was wearing a dark blue satin gown fitted along most of the body, with a metallic silver mermaid flare along the bottom and metallic puffy, off-the-shoulder sleeves. The mermaid flare was made more dramatic by large amounts of tulle underneath it, and there was a silver ribbon placed just beneath the brea.st with a faux silver rose attached. And, for once in her life, Wendy went completely natural; her hair was its natural red-gold and slightly frizzy waves, and her eyes were silver. The corsage Kolya got for her had dark purple orchids on it, and Wendy adored it. Ooc: Wendy's Orchids, Wendy's Gown (Without tulle), Faina's Corsage, Wendy's base ![]() |

Wendy's plan to find Collette a suitable dance partner had been successful. She arrived a little late, but with a date, Thomas, a Hogwarts student. The two were both renowned for being a little eccentric and both enjoyed to talk, in many ways it was a match made in heaven. And although Collette preferred him as a friend more than anything else, she was satisfied knowing that her date hadn't accepted to attend with her simply because she was a champion.
In an uncharacteristic move she had dressed in a somewhat simple outfit. Her dress was a thin, purple number consisting of two layers, the inner which was a rich purple, and the outer which was a lighter lilac. The edges of both shades of material were decorated with elaborate jewel encrusted patterns. Several Beauxbatons students had even convinced Collette to let them curl her hair. She was clutching onto a corsage of lavender and other assorted and blue blossoms. A wide grin stretched across the girls face and every so often she would try to wave to Pyotr, Faina, Draven of Dulce, which impacted drastically on a few of her dance movements. It was these somewhat ineffective waves which were capable of reminding people that as different as she looked, she was definitely still Collette. Draven ignored Collette's waves, but Dulce returned one or two.
"Why bother? You'll just encourage her," he grumbled to her in an undertone. Dulce smiled. "She's harmless," she said. "In any case, you need to cheer up a bit. I know it's difficult, but try to lose the permanent frown; we're at a party, after all." The Champions' dance finally finished, and the dance proper started. ![]() |
