Pyotr smiled and took Faina's hand. "I'm glad I have you; I'd be lost without you, and would be seriously tempted to go alone."

Faina smiled and kissed Pyotr softly.

Collette wandered the grounds of Hogwarts, weighing up her options of partners for the Yule Ball. She cam to the conclusion that she was completely stuck, she hardly knew any of the Hogwarts students, with the exception of Draven. And she hardly knew any of the Russian students with the exception of Pyotr. And as much as liked both of them (except maybe sometimes when Draven got all moody and sad and hard to predict and be friends with) she wasn't about to ask either of them.

Wendy was pretty stuck herself, but for a different reason; her crush was unavailable, but then she had a lot of male friends she could take instead... but which one? She saw Collette outside and headed toward her.

"Heeeeeelllooooo!" she sang.

Draven by now had already asked Dulce to the ball, as friends. She was fine with that; Dulce had often paired up with Draven before, and knew him well enough to know that all he wanted this time was to be left alone by the girls who only wanted to be with him at the ball cuz of him being Champion.

"Wendy!" Collette cried, giving the girl a bone-crushing hug.

Wendy squealed and hugged Collette back. "So, whatcha doin for the big ball? Got any boys yet?"

"No," Collette pulled a face, "I need your advice, I don't know who to ask."

"I know lots of boys... I'm sure I can help," Wendy said. "I'll help you find one that suits you... but I'll have to find a way of keeping your identity as the Champion as secret, or they'll all be fake toward you because they'll want to go to the dance with the Champion."

"Oh, okay," Collette agreed, "but how do I not be a champion?"
