The fog was starting to fade, Collette had to move more quickly if she wanted to reach the egg. In a few moments however the arena was in full view. There was a stretch of around ten meters between Collette and the egg.
The dragon turned and with a roar it came thudding towards the intruder who was after it's egg. Collette gulped, she had been hoping that the fog would last longer. She was out of brilliant ideas, she couldn't outrun the dragon, but she certainly couldn't stay where she was. "Rictusempra," she commanded, pointing her wand at the dragon. The dragon skidded sideways, and began to shake it's head in a form of desperation. Collette took it the tickling charm had worked, and turned with relief to claim the egg. The dragon followed clumsily, still put off by the strange tickling sensation that was preventing it from moving too quickly. Collette had the advantage of speed now and she was off like a rocket. She sprinted towards the egg with a drunk looking dragon staggering after. With a sque of glee Collette leant down and collected the prize, the egg. The girl tried her best to clap her hands togetehrwas was already jumping in excitement, giving the impression if some sort of strange tribal dance. ![]() |

Michelle was watching from the stands; she wasn't too sure about the French girl's spell, but she was glad that she hadn't harmed the dragon, at least.
The judges then gave out the scores. Professor Dippet gave out a seven, but Ivan Jaska gave out a six. He hadn't been impressed at all by Collette's method; he felt it was too similar to Pyotr's. ![]() |

This meant that the scores were as follows; Draven with twenty six, Pyotr with twenty four, and Collette with twenty. The judges came into the tent where the Champions were, giving them time to have any injuries seen to.
"Well done, all of you," Professor Dippet said. "You will have a long time to work on your next task; your clue is the golden egg you have with you now. You must work out the secret your egg holds in order to complete the next task, which will take place in February." Draven was relieved; this meant that he didn't have to worry about the egg for the moment, and could even leave it til after Christmas if need be, and concentrate on his studies. ![]() |

Pyotr was equally relieved; he didn't want to have to make any more rushed decisions when it came to the tasks again. Now he could take it easy, split his time between this egg and its 'secret' and... well, mostly his budding relationship with Faina. Thinking of her made him blush just a bit.
