"But like someone mentioned before, she probably isn't doing this on her own." Doctor Larrkon flicked a switch on the computer and a blurred image of a man wearing a top hat and a mask appeared on screen. It was impossible to see what he wore under his cloak and there were crowds of people around him.

[Miranda_]

"I didn't mean it that way," Kim said. "I meant that under guidence from someone else, she's using her powers to commit crime, and loving it."

[Cheshire1996]

"I think this is the man who may be behind it..." Dr Larrkon gestured to the screen.

"He calls himself the Magician."

[Miranda_]

"What's his power then, illusion?" Kim asked.

[Cheshire1996]

"Yes," the doctor wanted to avoid the subject if possible, he didn't know ow much of that story he could share before the gang in front of him would begin to mistrust him.

"I think he may be behind the way this girl is using her power, he may even be behind the robbery, though only if it meant he could benefit from it."

[Miranda_]

"He probably sent her round the back to collect the money while we were at the front trying to save the civilians," said Kim in disgust.

[Cheshire1996]

"I hate to say it but I doubt that, although he may have set up the robbery, that girl stole the money of her own accord. All I can think of is perhaps the robbery was meant to be some form of distraction?" The Doctor spun around in his chair.

"Why would he want a distraction?" Liam asked.

[Miranda_]

"Distraction? For what?" Kim asked.

Draven said nothing. He simply thought that he could have done with that money himself, so he could easily understand why the girl took it.

[Cheshire1996]

"That's what we need to find out," Dr Larrkon admitted.

He scanned his audience, "if any of you have anything to do with him...ever, you need to tell me."

Draven said nothing. He still had the card that the Magician had given him, but he wasn't going to say anything and invite a lecture.
