Shadowstar immediately rushed to intercept the intruder. From the sounds of their progress, they were a smaller cat than she was, and she felt she should try to contain them.

There was a flurry of dark grey fur as the mysterious cat in question came face to face with the Shadowclan leader.

Ooc: I just realized that I subconciously changed Swoftpaw into Breezetail quite a long time ago xD
I'll stick with Breezetail now but just to clear up any confusion they are one and the same...apologies >.<

Shadowstar pinned the dark grey cat down to the ground with her front paws. "Better tell us who you are and who your friends are, or my claws come out," she said, threateningly.

"Shadowstar?" the cat exclaimed in surprise. "What are you doing here?"

Willowstar flopped down in utter shock. Whoever would have thought the intruder was Mossfur, the Riverclan deputy who went missing during the attack of the Two-Legs. She had assumed he was dead.

Shadowstar blinked; she hadn't recognised Mossfur at first. She stepped back. "What happened to you the night the Twolegs came?" she asked.

"This and that," Mossfur stood up, licking several patches of fur. Eventually he lifted his head, directing his signature lopsided smile at the company.

"Let's just say they didn't appreciate my moves, and after everyone else...well after, that I opted to get out...fast."

Shadowstar still was suspicious of Mossfur, but it wasn't her decision about what to do about him. It was up to Mossfur's clan leader to decide whether or not to have him back as deputy; Shadowstar's main concern was Nightpaw's warrior naming ceremony.

Willowstar couldn't see past the fact her deputy was alive. As far as she was concerned he was welcome back with open arms.

Goldenstar didn't say anything. He had never really cared for the Riverclan deputy and his atitude. he thought there were cats in the clan that coud do a far better job. However the expression on the Riverclan leader's face stopped him from speaking out.

Shadowstar murmured to Stonetail, "We'd better keep an eye on Mossfur. I still don't trust him." She made sure that her voice was low enough so that only her deputy could hear her.

Stonetail's yellow eyes shown with agreenment, but he said nothing, instead regardiing the sudden return of the deputy with suspicion.
