Willowstar was wondering the same. "Do you think we should ask Sunstripe and Goldenstar hwo they wish to share out the food equally?"

"I suppose we should," Shadowstar replied.

"It might be difficult, considering all the uneven numbers," Willowstar sighed.

[Miranda_]

"I could always go and hunt for more, if needed," Shadowstar replied. "The night time is my prefered hunting time."

"I suppose," Willowstar agreed. "In which case of course I would also go, but it's going to be hard feeding so many mouths on such a long journey. I guess that's the joy of having a deputy."

"We may have to relax the rules about apprentices, if need be," Shadowstar said. "Stonetail won't be up to hunting for a while, til his tail heals, and there are others who are injured. We may have to utilise every cat who's healthy to hunt. As long as each apprentice is with at least one warrior, there shouldn't be any problems."

"Of course not, and food is a first priority, everyone should understand."

[Miranda_]

"We may have to change a lot of our usual customs in order to survive," Shadowstar said.

"One thing that is imperitive tho, is that when we travel, we avoid the habitations of the Twolegs as much as is possible. If not possible, then we must keep under cover as much as is possible so as not to attract attention. And we must always travel by dusk and dawn, rather than during the day. Twolegs tends to be out during the day most of the time."

"Their monsters are also usually asleep." Sunstripe said.

Willowstar shuddered as she thought of the Twolegs monsters.

"We'll have to find ways around the TwoLegs," Goldenstar agreed, "perhaps we should lay out some basic emergency plans now, in case things don't go as planned at some stage of the trip."
