Goldenstar nodded in approval, "We'll go then, the apprentices will come with us and no doubt it will be useful to have more paws on board."

Poppyfur paused, then said, "We might want to swear out a truce of some sorts when we meet with the other clans."

Shadowstar settled down to wait, hoping it would not be too long.

Indeed, rounding up the survivors was quick; there weren't a whole lot left, and those that were left were ready to leave, hopefully to find some place farther form the Twolegs. Stonetail lead them all to where Shadowstar was waiting.

"A sound idea," Goldenstar agreed. "For now let's collect the apprentices though, I don't want anyone left behind out of our ignorance."

Willowstar tried not to look hurt when Snowpaw didn't immedietly reply. It was understandable after all.

Poppyfur went to round up the apprentices. Most were in shock at what had happened, so Poppyfur had to push them into following her to the place where Goldenstar was waiting.

Once all the Shadowclan survivors were collected, Shadowstar indicated to her clan that they were to follow her.

The survivors of ShadowClan followed Shadowstar. Stonetail stayed a little behind to be sure that everyone kept up.

Goldenstar scanned the few survivors. "I understand you will all be mourning the loss of our friends but we cannot stay here any longer. I ask that you follow both Poppyfur and I and trust us to find a new home. I cannot force you to come but I want every one of you to know that the only future that lies here is for the TwoLegs."

Poppyfur agreed with Goldenstar. "Those who remain here, will die," she said. "Your only hope for a new life is to follow us to the meeting place."

Shadowstar and the remnents of her clan arrived first. She tore at a nearby tree stump with her claws in frustration that there was no other cats there, but she definitely was not early.

Goldenstar, satisfied that he could say no more began to lead the way towards the meeting place.

Poppyfur took the last place to ensure that everyone kept up.
