Remy smiled, while at the back of his mind was the thought that they really had to deal with Apep first.

[Silent_Wolf]

Bastet was sitting on the roof watching a meteor shower. "Well, Apep's having fun," she growled under her breath.

[Miranda_]

Anubis was sitting next to Bastet. "He won't be for long," he said. "Once we fix him, he'll never be able to do this again."

[Silent_Wolf]

"He better not. I can't wait to chase him down like the snake he is." She rubbed her arms. "Grr, my hackles are all up," she grumbled.

[Miranda_]

"Wait til he's out of Amber's body first. Then, feel free."

[Silent_Wolf]

"With pleasure." She huddled up against his side, still not happy about it. While the waiting game was sort of her thing, this was a situation where she loathed it.

[Miranda_]

Anubis put an arm round his girlf. "We have to perfect the plan before we carry it out," he said. "It would be nothing short of disaster to attack Apep before it's ready."

[Silent_Wolf]

"I know. Just, everything that could have gone wrong with this did. I'd hoped Apep would have stayed under the cult's control; that would've been so much easier." She looked miserable.

Thoth looked up and around from his notebooks and texts and frowned. "Anybody else hear that?"

[Miranda_]

"But unlike," Anubis pointed out. "Chaos can't be controlled, amply demonstrated by Set escaping the cult's control."

"Hear what?" Horus asked. He was very quiet now after what had happened before, and didn't call as much attention to himself any more.

[Silent_Wolf]

"Granted, that's true. I was looking around the base one night and I noticed a room that had a binding circle in it; they should've used permanent marker or something. Idiots used sandy chalk." -__-

"It's like a singing or something." Thoth stood up and opened the window, looking outside. It was very faint, but it sounded like a choir. "... I'm feeling very creeped out right now."
