Josh was at his house alone, as his mom was out.

[Miranda_]

Helena went straight round his house and rung the doorbell.

Josh promptly answered the door. "Oh! Hi, Helena, come on in." Josh dind't need to say for her to take her shoes off, or anytihng like that; she'd been over often enough to know.

[Miranda_]

Helena automatically did everything that was needed, then said to Josh, "I've got to tell you something!"

She was so excited, she could barely get the words out.

"Um, sit down first." Josh said, motioning to thew couch. Josh took a seat himself, and feared the worst.

[Miranda_]

Helena sat down and told Josh all about the new kid, Seth... including the fact that he was g@y.

"He was pretty rude to me before," she said, finishing, "But I think that was cuz he thought I was going to match him with someone ugly. Since you're not ugly, he won't have to worry about that."

Josh blushed. "What? But I didn't get any hints that he liked me during class or lunch. Unless he's that good at schooling his emotions, but I doubt it..."

[Miranda_]

"He might be; I never thought he could be g@y til he told me himself," she replied. "I went and chatted him up, cuz he was cute, til he told me he wasn't into girls."

Josh blushed right up to his ears. "Oh..."

[Miranda_]

"So, you need to ask him out," Helena said.
