"Oh, my boy." Isis said, hugging her son. "Well, I know you're just barely fifteen, so at least you're the same as me."

[Silent_Wolf]

Thoth pinched the bridge of his nose. "Isis, I hate to say this, but it's going to look awful strange if you're treating your son the way you have been for all these years in public or at school. I know you say you won't do it, but for everybody's sake, at least refrain from it outside of this house."

[spirit_queen]

Isis sniffed. "I am aware of that, Thoth. But we're not outside, we're inside. And when we're inside, he's my son."

[Silent_Wolf]

"I know. That's all I ask. Thank you." Thoth smiled.

[spirit_queen]

"Alright... so, was Horus right? Is there a place where one can obtain clothes for free, like the food?" Isis asked.

[Miranda_]

Horus scowled. "I'm not stupid, and neither is Mother. This is inside, in case you hadn't noticed."

[Silent_Wolf]

Thoth sighed; Horus was difficult, sometimes. "Horus, your mother and I just discussed it. Please drop it." To Isis, he said, "Yes, there is. It's called a 'homeless' shelter, but it also caters to those who are, quote unquote, less fortunate and will supply clothes to those that need them until they are able to find work. I can't guarantee any of the clothing will fit us properly, but it'll have to do."

Isis shivered. "So distasteful it is to live like- like some kind of peasant."

[Silent_Wolf]

"We'll adjust, I guess. I haven't seen any rich people about. Or, if I have, they don't look any better than we do." Thoth paused. "As a matter of fact, have any of you seen those groups of people who go by with their pants hanging so low you can see their drawers? It's just wrong."

"I find it funny." Neph said.

"I think they'll trip themselves." Isis said.
