"I doubt he would, to be honest. In any case, you don't have to bother with him any more; he's no longer your problem."

Neph giggled a little sheepishly and said, "I guess it's hard to let go; it's been over a thousand years, after all. It's my second nature by now."

"You can still call him out on his sh*t, if need be," Remy said. "You just don't have to feel as tho you're responsible for him."

"Well, I need to... reinvent myself; I've been a quite little mouse for too long, tailing behind a man who ignored me. That's why I'm planning to cut my hair, you know; I've used it as a shield. When I was dancing at that party, I got a glimpse of ho I could be; confident, carefree, maybe even a bit wild; I want that. Please... hlep me get that," Neph said.

"Helena's friend Josh could do that for you. I could get Helena to ask him."

"I already asked Set to ask him; Set's dating Josh, so they're around all the time," Neph said. "I had a picture of the style I was going to get, so I could ask your opinion, but it's in my jean pockets at home."

Remy shrugged. "You can show me after," he said. "Maybe you could get a streak of colour in your hair, too."

"Er, I'm having it cut boyishly short... do you think there'd still be enough hair to dye?" Neph asked.
