Set turned and nodded slightly; his tail went up again. He wasn't thinking of this as anything more than a quick fix; they would have to find some way of getting food that didn't involve scavenging or stealing.

Neph was thinking about that as well. "I guess I'll leave you to your meal, then." she walked inside and began to divide the beans and peas into even portions for each person in the house aside form Set, since he already had a meal.

Horus too, cuz he wasn't back yet; and had already eaten, anyway.

Which only made the meager veggie portions slightly bigger than they would have been with two other people. Neph sighed; this was not going to do.

Set thought about finding Thoth and asking him about how they were supposed to get food when none of them had any means of doing so. He wasn't going to do this til he'd finished the leftovers he'd found, tho.

Meanwhile, at Helena's house...

Helena was trying to clean up and air out the house, and Josh, the partially oriental kid, was helping out, but it looked as though no one else was going to bother. O.o

"Aha," Hathor pointed at a page of the book in delight. "How about Heather?"

"Yeah, that works." Osiris said. "ater on we'l have to go over everyone else's fake names so that we can know what to call each other by in public."

[Miranda_]

Horus was still asleep in Helena's bed.

A lot of the other guests had hurriedly left when it seemed that they might be pressed into helping clean up. XD

"Josh? Would you go wake up that new kid, Owen for me?" Helena asked.

"Why? You gonna make him help?" Josh aksed.

"What? After his first American party? No, that wouldn't do; I just need him out of my room so that I can clean it up." Helena said.

Josh nodded and dashed upstairs and into Helena's room.
