"Which ones?" Thoth got some of the things he needed for dinner and put them on the counter.

"The Princess Bride, or The fifth Element." Tina replied, watching him prepare.

Meanwhile, Helena left the house she was partying at to go sit outside. She stared listlessly up at the stars, her face blank and almost dead looking.

[Miranda_]

Soon, Horus joined her. He had seen her leave the house and had followed her. He sat down next to Helena. "What's up?"

Helena didn't even look at him as she said, "...it's my dad. He's coming back." She shivered.

[Miranda_]

"I might be out of the loop, but what's with that?" Horus asked. "You'll be with me, anyway. I'd ask you to stay round the house, but it's not really convienient at the moment."

[spirit_queen]

"My dad is- is a criminal. He- he's... done things... to me..." Helena said, avoiding his eye.

[Miranda_]

Horus narrowed his eyes. "In which case, he might not live long enough to try and do it again." He planned to tell his brother about this; Anubis would certainly be prompted to do something about Helena's father if prompted.

[spirit_queen]

Helena looked alarmed. "No, no, pretend you didn't hear anything, please. I- I've never told anyone-" she began, looking panicked.

[Miranda_]

"If that's what you want," Horus said, while privately deciding otherwise.

Helena nodded once. She suddenly jumped when he phone buzzed in her pocket. When she flipped open her phone, it was a text from Josh. "Um... owen? Is something wrong with Seth? Josh just texted me, saying that Seth headed home to start his own laundry over an hour ago, and never came back or sent word that he wouldn't be."
