"Uncouth? How so?" Horus looked insulted. "It's a natural function. How is mentioning it uncouth?"

"The language is unfavorable for someone in your standing." Thoth was secretly enjoying riling Horus up. XD "One would think that a king wouldn't wish to discuss bodily functions."

Hathor giggled as she imagined what Isis would do if her son brought such a thing as a 'toilet' up during meals.

Osiris wasn't surprised at al; he was much the same way as his son when it came to that. XD

Neph just patted Set on the ack again. "Dont' worry, I'll just use my hawk form and scare them away."

"And just maybe, someone like you ought to think about what you say to a king," Horus said. "Maybe I'll tell Isis that you're getting at me."

"You won't be able to be around me all the time," said Set. "And anyway, nice guys wouldn't ever be attracted to someone like me."

Osiris did sigh at that, however. "Son, he's just palygin around, I can tell."

"That's not true. At least, if you showed your real side more often and quit putting up such a tough-guy front." Neph said. "You're a lot nicer than you let on; I hated you because I never got to see that side myself."

"I was only suggesting that, in the event we have company, that it would be in your best interest to refrain from talking that way, sir." Thoth smiled.

Hathor didn't say anything. She didn't like disagreements.

"Why would we have company? Who'd want to come here, anyway? And don't make suggestions; when I want to hear your ideas, I'll ask you."

Set sighed. "If I showed my other aspect all the time, everyone would just despise me even more."
