Kiki was so excited she could barely contain herself.

"Some of the boat people's daemons are fish or water birds, so they have to stay on the river all the time," Rian said.

[spirit_queen]

"Reeeeally?" Kiki said, her eyes widening with fascination.

"That must be odd for the person, though." Gigi said. "They'd have to stay real close to the water at all times."

"What if they put their fish daemon in a bowl?" Kiki said.

"I guess they could if they had to, but I doubt it'd be very pleasant for the daemon for anything other than a short while." Gigi said.

[Miranda_]

"I expect they could do that, but wouldn't be much fun; would have to be a big tank or something."

[spirit_queen]

"That would be heavy!" Kiki said. "Gigi, I hope you don't turn into a fish."

"You and me both." Gigi said.

[Miranda_]

"I wonder what Maris will be?" Rian said.

"Definitely not a fish," Maris replied.

[spirit_queen]

"I think Maris will be some kind of cat, it suits her, somehow." Kiki said with a nod.

[Miranda_]

"I'd like that, alright," Rian said. "I wonder why daemons fix, tho?"

[spirit_queen]

"Someone told me that they fix in a form that matches the person's personality or something. A kid's daemon shifts around because we're still growing and learnign and stuff." Kiki said.

"I don't wanna fix; I like being able to change." Gigi said.

"Neither do I want to fix" growled Fira, she was now in the shape of a wolf.

"I don't particularly want you to fix either" Faolan told Fira
"Then we won't be able to pull of the mouse to lion trick"
