"Positive; I want sleep just at much as you." Chun-Li said with a yawn.

Rose didn't want to go back to her apartment, the bottles of the floor, the closed blinds, it was all much too enclosed. She leant her head agains the tree behind her.

"OK, I'll see you tomorrow, then. I'll take a short cut thru the park; it'll be quicker to get to where I'm going," Cammy said.

She quickly took her leave of Chun Li, exiting the hospital.

"Right. Night, Cammy." Chun-Li said. She exited the building and began to take her own shortcut toward her flat. She soon let her mind wander, and as her thoughts wandered, her feet did, too.

One moment she'd been heading home, and the next she looked up she was in some place she hardly recognized. Some searching around made her realize that she was behind the Diamond Club, where she'd first met Vega. Chun-Li was rather horrified; she couldn't even trust her own subconscious anymore.

Dan hoped the nurses hadn't overheard their conversation.

A poster advertising the fight that was currently on hung crazily by one corner to the back door. A gust of wind blew it off, to land in front of Chun Li. It showed that the fighters in the cage tonight were "Claw" and "Bullet". The fight had already begun.

Rose fell asleep.

Chun-Li's heart began to pound and, though she internally screamed at herself, she snuck inside the back way to see if she could see at least the end of the fight.

The fight had been going on for a while now, and was obviously nearing its finish. Vega's opponent, a big guy with a shaved head, was tiring now and his timing was horribly off. He'd obviously gotten in a couple of moves beforehand; Vega was bleeding from the left shoulder and his outfit was shredded on one side. But Bullet was also staggering from several blows to the head and the end was in sight.

Vega climbed the cage bars til he reached the ceiling, then leapt off to simultaniously slash and punch at Bullet's head, knocking him down. Bullet fell heavily and could not rise; the announcer signalled that the match was over. Vega did a backflip and a yodel to announce his triumph.

Most of the visitors had left the park.
