"No, but Rose is. I don't take the advanced classes."

Rose looked over. "The math work? Oh, uh.... it was.... page 233, 18-45 do only the problem numbers that are multiples of three."

[Silent_Wolf]

"..." Beth shook her head, and her mother translated what she signed. " 'Does the teacher have to make everything so difficult?' "

Rose laughed. "That's his job, Beth."

[Miranda_]

"Well, that's what happens when you take advanced classes."

[Silent_Wolf]

Beth just shrugged and looked at her mother to read her lips as the woman started speaking. "She wants to be a doctor, and the school she wants told us that they like seeing AP courses, so there she goes." Aurora smiled tiredly. "Just as a question to you two, does her translator at school strike you two as funny? Keeps taking days off."

Beth and her mother didn't know, but her in-school translator was a vampire who couldn't (or wouldn't) find the time to hunt.

Dolph knew this very well, but there wasn't exactly a good way to put it. "I've noticed that."

[Silent_Wolf]

"Beth isn't too fond of her, in any case. If that's not obvious." She laughed; Beth fingerspelled 'haha' and signed something. " 'And she smells like dirt'? What?" O_o Beth just gave her mother a look and pointed at her own head. "Yes, I know what you mean, she does smell rather... odd, but she has a veggie garden, you know." She rolled her eyes, and Aurora just sighed.

"So ask to switch to another one, then. If you can."

[Silent_Wolf]

Beth held her hands up, clearly meaning 'tried that.' "Thanks for the suggestion though." Aurora smiled.
