Flynn gave her a mild mind bolt; that is, mild by his standards so it wouldn't kill her. However, it was strong enough to knock her off her chair and throw her to the floor.

Heather hit the floor with a thud, but got up quickly and straightened her chair before sitting back down. "Okay okay, I was just joking. Sheesh." She said, hoping no one noticed her falling.

[Miranda_]

"You know where the line is drawn; and you crossed it."

Heather looked away and brooded like a scolded child. After existing in this world for 25 years, she still hadn't grown up.

[Miranda_]

"Think yourself lucky," Flynn said. "There's vampires out there who'd kill you for a remark like that."

[eyeball_fish]

Heather sighed and turned back to Flynn, "Well then, I guess I am lucky.." She said, crossing her legs and leaning back, once again comfortable in the seat.

[Miranda_]

"In any case; it's amusing to see the way the humans have no idea about who's killing them off."

[eyeball_fish]

Heather smiled, "Yeah, you gotta admit it's pretty hilarious. They're such idiots. They're saying it's some psychotic guy- In some tabloid they even hooked the 'incidents' to some man out of some prison somewhere I think." She laughed and shook her head.

[Miranda_]

"Then again, they've always been stupid."

[eyeball_fish]

"Yeah, I agree with ya there." She grinned, getting a strange glint in her eye, "I just love the look in their eyes when they realize what's about to happen to them. It's so like, 'Wow, I totally didn't see this coming' " She giggled mischievously at the thought.
