"You should've seen Takaia in heels... it was pretty terrible," Andre chuckled.

"What all is there for breakfast?" Corey asked.

"Ready-made? Oh, every type of egg you can imagine; bagels, with cream cheese, butter, and various jellies for spreads; sausage; bacon; a variety of muffins; oatmeal; home made waffles and pancakes; french toast; coffee; hot chocolate; juices, and more..." Andre said slowly.

"I've never even had most of that," Laika said, wonderingly. "I'm going to have some of everything."

"I know most of it; my old owner, Jack, let me try human food; he found it cheaper that way, anyways; he lived alone, aside from me, so all those big boxes of cheaper things he'd never finish... so I helped, and, let me tell you, it's so much better than the crud pets get that it's indescribably..." Corey said.

[Miranda_]

"Depends on the pet," Laika replied. "That pet, Todd, seemed to get a lot of human food from his first owner."

[spirit_queen]

"Yes, but he was also terribly spoiled by his owner," Corey said. "I was given human food, but I wasn't spoiled as such..."

[Miranda_]

"Different situation. Anyway, let's go down and have breakfast."

"Yeah; I want some of that cream cheese," Corey said, stepping out of the room and double checking that he had the key.

By this time, Phelan was at breakfast along with Taka and Zeke.

Zeke had been fed already, but still was watching his parents eat with avid curiosity; he loved the look of solid food.

Phelan gave Zeke some butter soaked toast fingers to play with; more to get used to the idea of solid food than to eat it. XD
