Corey was finished showering in only fifteen minutes; his hair was short, so the majority of his washing had been focused on his body.

Laika had finished dressing; her new dress was navy blue, and fitted her well. She'd never worn a dress before, and certainly not anything that was of this calibre. She also had tights and boots too, with a low heel, and a cardi cuz tho it was now getting into summer, it still had days where it was chilly.

"You look nice," Corey said. He'd come out only in a towel, as well, for he'd forgotten his clothes... Not that there's anything to see, Corey thought to himself. Corey was quite thin, and not in the attractive, lean sort of way like Phelan. No, Corey was the sort of thin that made him look dweebish, like the sort of kid high school bullies gave "swirlies" to.

"Thanks," Laika replied, shyly. "You'd better get dressed yourself; I think it's nearly time for them to call on us."

"Oh, right," Corey said. He grabbed his clothes and ran into the bathroom to change.

Laika sat still, waiting for the knock on the door which would mean that the others were ready for them.

Soon enough, the anticipated knock came.

Laika got up and ran to open the door.

Andre smiled at her. "Ah, good, you're ready. There is breakfast downstairs in the lobby if you want it, just remember to try to look as human as possible."

[Miranda_]

"I'll try," Laika said with a smile. "It'll be easier since my boots have low heels; I can walk more humanlike in heels than in flats."
