Taka giggled. "That's sexy," she said.

"Yes, the biker look suits you... " Jen agreed. "Anne?"

"Yes?" the assistant replied.

"Get him some dark wash jeans; roughed up maybe, but not torn. Biker boots, of course, some leather gloves..."

"What about a shirt?"

'Still thinking about that."

Phelan felt a bit bewildered at all this; he didn't know what the clothes they described looked like.

Anne soon returned with the dark wash jeans and boots. "I'm thinking a dark grey shirt, with some sort of flecked pattern or texture... do we have anything of the sort in stock?" Jen asked.

"Yes, ma'am," Anne said before running off to get it. She soon returned and handed it to Jen. Jen handed Phelan the jeans, some socks, the boots, and the dark grey tee-shirt. "Go try this on, will you?"

Phelan nodded, still bemused and headed towards one of the changing cubicles that was pointed out to him. He thought it a bit silly the way humans were shy about changing their clothes in public, but decided to go with it anyway.

He quickly got changed into the new clothes and went back to the others.

Jen fussed a bit over the way the shirt and jacket were laid on him, then spun him to face a mirror. "Well? Do you like it?"

Phelan looked. He'd rarely gotten to see himself in a mirror. "Yeah. Looks good."

"Perfect. It's all yours. Now please go change back so we can bag it for you and get started on your girlfriend," Jen said.

"Sure." Phelan went back to the cubicle. He was changed in record time and returned, carrying the new clothes.

The assistant got him a bag, then brought some dresses for Jen. Jen handed the first dress, a beaded necklace, and a pair of nude heels to Takaia. "Try these on, will you?"

"Okie dokie!" Taka said before skipping off to the changing room Phelan had just vacated.

Phelan expected that Taka felt the same as he did regarding humans' shyness when it came to changing clothes.
