"Ew, sounds so complicated," Mina said, wrinkling her nose. "I pity Taka having to learn that on top of human letters and human numbers... and human math. Why is everything base ten with humans? Base eight makes so much more sense!"
"Well, they learn that kind of thing at a very young age, so it doesn't seem that way to them," Todd said. "Kind of like the way they learn how to read and write at a young age."
