Mina laughed. "Oh, well; it's worth it," she said.

"Not to me. Would be uncomfortable," Todd said. "Besides, I never swum in this form."

[spirit_queen]

Mina swam up next to him. "Really? We should get you the proper swim-outfit and come back sometime," Mina said.

[Miranda_]

"I only did as a pet, cuz my first owner used to throw sticks for me into the stream for me to fetch."

[spirit_queen]

"But now you can do whatever you want... within reason," Mina said.

[Miranda_]

"Except eat what I want," Todd said. "There's not much variety of food on offer. I got fed much better as a pet."

Todd's old lady owner had scorned the idea of giving her beloved pet ordinary pet food and had instead given him the same food she ate herself, with additional treats.

Mina wrinkled her nose. "I know exactly what you mean; I miss fresh deer." Her idea of gourmet, of course, was very different form Todd's XD

[Miranda_]

"I used to get fresh smoked salmon, and chicken, and lean beef," Todd said. "Never deer. Tho, I guess you ate different things to what we eat now."

"Deer, pheasant, rabbit... whatever we could catch really, all raw but for special occasions," Mina said.

[Miranda_]

"Never had raw meat in my life," Todd said. "Was it good?"
