"Well, I hope they don't forget where they come from, at least," Mina said. She sighed. "I miss the forest, a lot."

"Maybe one day you can go back there."

[spirit_queen]

"Not the place I grew up; they tore it down. I know there are other forests, but if there are other packs in those, they'll see me as a intruder and either attack or take me prisoner and take me back to their camp," Mina said. "They might go easy on me, what with me being young and all, but I'd hate counting on that, you know?"

[Miranda_]

"That's like it is here, with the renegade camps," Todd said. "They all have their own territory."

[spirit_queen]

"Exactly. You don't go into someone else's territory, unless you're a human and territories mean nothing to you... for the most part. Human families set up a sort of territory in their home and set up fences to keep renegades and thieving humans out," Mina said.

[Miranda_]

"And some of them have guards," Todd said. "They're always canines, like pets but guards have to be stronger."

[spirit_queen]

"They have more stamina than vigilantes; they're better fed," Mina said.

[Miranda_]

"Tho some guards are helping the camp out; they send food down. Their human owner is pro canine."

[spirit_queen]

"Yeah, I heard about that. Sounds like this guy is an exception and not the rule, though," Mina said.

[Miranda_]

"But better than nothing, that's for sure," Todd replied.
