Kasa tensed up. "Oh."

Kasa didn't reply; she just turned around and walked towards the house.

"That's why I made it up; I've perfected it some over the few years I've worked with the cubs." Taka said, beaming at Phel.

"I think she's got gangrene of the mind or something."

"There isn't much worth hunting in the city, but it's still something they need to know."

"Even if it was true, what would be the use?" Kasa muttered.

"Yeah. And- and maybe when the humans settle down some of that builing stuff, I can take them outjust a teeny bit farther into what remains of the forest... but I don't tihnk I'd do itoften. Once a year at most. And only if it was actuall possible without too many complications."

[Sarah_K_O_M]

"Not much of one. I'm not into self-flagellation."

"Would be easier if the city didn't keep on getting bigger all the time."

Kasa's ears and tail drooped. She started to walk sadly towards the house.
