Finitevus cackled, causing his white dreadlocks to bounce madly around his head. Ghost looked incredulous.

"I just came over for some tea, biscuits, and to tell you I'm suing your brother for wrecking my house. No, really, we have to talk about the government and their meddling."

"You mean in stealing Goth boy? Something smells off about that, and I'm keen to know why. I was just considering that when you literally weaseled in," Mephiles scowled.

"Yes, that. I'd also like someone to bawl to about the price of petrol, but I don't think you care about the economy. Now, I did some research..." Finitevus reached an arm out of the hoop and waved a sheet at Mephiles. It was a screenshot of Shadow's file in the FBI database; it didn't contain information about his creation, which was even more classified, but it made it painfully clear that he had never been involved with terrorism in his life. It also noted that he was a mutant.

"At first they must have gotten it all wrong and they were actually looking for my pet idiot, Scourge, but it appears that I was wrong. Shadow supposedly gave himself up. He's been taken to a laboratory according to my snooping, but I can't tell which."

For some reason, Finitevus looked almost disturbed.

Iblis came into the room at that moment. "What the hell's going on now?" he asked, taking in the strange sight.

Finitevus tipped his head to the side. "Lots of things," he said, cagily.

[Miranda_]

"Like what, exactly?" Iblis replied, looking put out.

"You might as well tell me. Mephy will tell me anything you say."

[AaronShadows]

"I'm suing you for wrecking my house, for one thing," Finitevus replied with a huge grin. He wasn't serious, but he was determined to keep talking about suing over the house forever. It seemed so funny to him.

Iblis just laughed insanely at that.

"Yeah, right!" he said. "Firstly, I don't even know where your house is, and secondly, I don't have any d@mn money!"

"Uhm, Iblis? We kind of broke into his house and then he blew it up." Ghost piped in.

"Shhh, you rotten idiot, I'm trying to make it look like his fault!"

"Too late! Tricked you into admitting liability, in front of witnesses!" Iblis laughed.
