"Understood," Daniel said. He stepped right out where Shadow could see him, then nodded at the teen.

[Miranda_]

Shadow made no move to run this time. It simply wasn't worth it. He walked towards Daniel, holding his hands out in clear view in case the agent thought he had a gun.

Scourge gave Daniel the evil eye.

"It's your funeral, Shadow. This ain't smart."

Then he turned, jumped, grabbed the wall and rolled over the top. He landed with a slight thump, and then he was gone.

Amella watched what was going on, sipping her coffee.

"You're coming with no resistance, then?" Daniel asked Shadow.

[Miranda_]

"Yes, cuz I can't risk anyone getting hurt cuz you're shooting at me," Shadow replied.

"I'm innocent tho. You'll find that out for yourself later."

[spirit_queen]

"I have no say in that part," Daniel said. Suddenly, he snapped a collar on Shadow's neck. "So you don't escape."

[AaronShadows]

Amella narrowed her eyes at that move. She hadn't heard anything about collars so far, and she didn't approve of this development.

[Miranda_]

The collar was one that suppressed mutant powers, and Shadow's last hope of escape was gone. He sighed.

Daniel lead him to the van, then hopped in himself and waited for Shadow to do the same.

Amella didn't know this; she was worried the collar was something inhumane, like a shock or injection device. She didn't hesitate to do what she had to in her job, but she was by no means a cruel or unnecessarily nasty person.
