"I suppose. Now, here's the problem. He's a freak who can teleport at will." She explained. "That means if we go running towards him, he'll bail. If we shout and wave guns at him, he'll bail. If we try to trap him, it might work, and then he'll bail. So we need to trick him and then try to knock him out by surprise later."

"So, you gotta plan?" Daniel asked her.

[AaronShadows]

"Yeah."

She opened the door and stepped out. "I'll walk over and ask him really nicely to come with us. Maybe we'll get lucky. The file says he has amnesia, so I'll see if I can get him curious."

Amella crossed the space between the van and Shadow quickly, making no attempt to disguise her approach. She leaned against the wall beside him and smiled.

"Hello. Shadow, right?"

[Miranda_]

Shadow looked up at the stranger, suspiciously. "Yeah, that's right," he replied.

"Who wants to know?"

[AaronShadows]

"I do. Me and some friends would like to ask you a few questions. It's very important, and we might be able to answer some for you, as well." She answered. Her voice was soft and non-commanding.

[Miranda_]

"Somehow, I doubt that. Who are you, anyway? And how do you know my name? I never saw you before in all my life."

[AaronShadows]

"My name is Amella. I work with FBI."

[Miranda_]

Shadow gave a shrug. "Don't see what that's got to do with me."

[AaronShadows]

"It does. You see, me and my friends know all about your powers. Like I said, we were hoping you'd be able to tell us a few things. You'll be released afterwards," she lied smoothly.

[Miranda_]

"I can't tell you anything. I'm not about to go with you just cuz you say so."
