Silver prefered being ignored to being criticised, so he let it go. He kept close to Blaze, tho.

Blaze lead ihm straight out back. "So, what would you like to do first? We have a trampoline, a pool, and a bonfire." She didn't even mention the tennis court; Silver hated sports and she knew it.

"I don't really mind, whatever you want to do, I guess."

"Why don't we go swimming before the sun goes down?" Blaze suggested.

[Miranda_]

"Will there be anyone else there?" Silver asked nervously.

[spirit_queen]

"Probably some of the younger kids, but they'll all be in the shallow end." Blaze said.

"Then that's alright then. I don't want to swim if anyone else is there."

Little did they know, Tristan was in the pool swimming laps. Tristan was a family friend of Blaze's. He went to a private school, on the swim team and tennis team. Their parents always tried to set him and Blaze up, but Tristan wasn't interested in Blaze in that way, and he didn't think Blaze liked him in that way either. Tristan was tall and toned, and his skin tan. He spent a lot of time out on the beach a couple hours away from the town, so the tanned glow was natural. He had short curly blond hair and light brown eyes, and dressed in a preppy manner.

Tristan hadn't yet seen Blaze - apart from saying hello on his way in. He knew Blaze had been reading, and he hadn't wanted to interfere with that.

Silver's face fell when he saw that someone was already in the pool; there was no way he wanted to swim with someone already there, especially another guy.

Tristan stopped swimming when he saw Silver. He never understood what Blaze saw in Silver. To Tristan, Silver was just a poor, emo, wimpy loser - emphasis on the poor. Tristan's family had at least as much money as Blaze's, if not more. Since Tristan went to a private school, most other kids were from rich families too, so being poor was something frowned upon in their upper class neighbourhood.

He climbed out of the pool and grabbed his towel, drying his hair a little before throwing the towel over his shoulder. "Hello again, Blaze." Tristan smiled at her. He then looked over at Silver, "Your name was Silver, right?" He asked, for he had met Silver before at other parties Blaze held.
