In fact, Mephiles' plans really got in the way of Finitevus' plans, so he needed to stop Mephiles to ensure his own schemes came to fruition.

Angelica shook her head. "What- what do you want with me? Mission solved; Ghost didn't kill me..." she began to edge toward the door, for she didn't like the way Finitevus talked of Mephiles; someone who considered Mephiles more or less a rival had to be dangerous indeed.

"Wait" said Finitevus urgently. He walked forward and pressed a golden ring into Angelica's palm.

"This is a warp ring. If they come after you again, will it to take you to wherever you want to be. It will expand, and a vortex will form in the middle. simply step down through this to be taken to the target location. Soon after, the ring will appear next to you, and it will be small again. Do you understand?"

Angelica nodded, feeling all the blood rush away form her face, felt her heart miss a beat. She ddn't know whether to trust him or not.

"Also, you must spread the word. Just do so very quietly so that it isen't noticed. Scourge, the green haired boy whom pays such excellent attention in my science class, already knows, and is spreading the word to all the mutants he knows of"

"But the only mutants I know already know." Angelica said.

"They may know ones that don't know. Just make sure everyone you can conceivably alert knows, alright?"

Angelica shakily nodded her head.

Finitevus strolled off in the other direction from the one Ghost had taken.
