She smiled, apologizing for his inconvinience and finishing it, tucking it away in her pocket. It was a little too emotional to let anyone read,a nd she didn't know Silver well yet. She was happy he hadn't read it, though.

"Speaking of after school, what do you guys want to do?" Rouge asked.

Manic shrugged. "We could get some beers and head to your parents' place. At least you get it to yourself; even when I lived at home I had to share a room with stupid Sonic. Sonia, of course, got her own room."

Silver tried to pay attention to the Spanish teacher, but it was difficult. He just was willing the lesson to be over soon so he could go home.

"Yeah. Sounds good enough to me. What do you think, Knuckles? You up for coming back to my place and having a couple beers with us?" She asked.

Tails wondered if he'd be able to sit with Knuckles at lunch tomorrow. Well, no; best to play it safe and let them come out and say so. Having made that decision, he was quite eager to see Cream, his beat friend, when school ended.

He didn't even pay attention much to the teacher; he could probably do Trig in his sleep. Of course, he made sure he kept his eyes on the board to make it look like he was paying attention; he dind't want to get caught, for he hated upstting the teachers.

Mel understood only half of the crap that was coming out of the Spanish teacher's mouth.
"Repitan despues de mi. Hola, me llamo (name). Como estas? Estoy muy bien, y tu? Estoy asi asi. Cuantos anos tiene? Yo tengo quince anos, y tu?"
Etc, etc, it was supposed to just be a warmup but it seemed totally pointless to her and she stumbled over the words.

Knuckles nodded. "Sure. We can send Vector to get the stuff; he always gets served at the liquor store."

Silver paid a strained attention in the lesson, but he still wasn't very good. He mispronounced half the words, making the teacher smile.

Mel didn't think it was funny that Silver was mispronouncing the words. "Yo soy bah-ka," she said, trying to divert attention from him.
It meant "I am cow" in Spanish, and people started laughing, staring at her.

She nodded. "Yeah, we'll wait outside while he gets it, so we don't look suspicious."
