"I heard Blaze and Silver both went home sick." Vector said, "Maybe Blaze got sick after reading all that Silver wrote about her and went home, and Silver wanted to save himself for further embarrassment."

"Or, perhaps," thought Rouge, "Blaze really likes that loser back, and they didn't want to look like they were 'skipping class', so they faked sick?"

"I doubt they did anything together," Manic said. "Can you imagine it?"

Tails, who sat with them at lunch to do all their homework, looked confused. "Who are you talking about?" He asked.

"Silver and Blaze, of course," Knuckles said to Tails. "Silver is that emo loser, and Blaze is the rich girl."

"Oh. You mean the girl with the purple hair and the boy with the white? I have Latin with Blaze, then; she's usually sorta quiet." Tails said. "What'd you guys do to them?" He wasn't passing judgement with that statement, and it was evident in his voice; he was merely curious.

"Nothing much; just let Blaze know how much Silver has been crushing on her," Knuckles said with a snicker.

"Unlikely couple. If she wanted, she could be popular, but she hangs out with that overly-sensitive freak." Said Rouge.

"I really don't want to even think of that idea," Vector said in response to Manic, "Silver's probably about 2-inches anyway - if that. He can't be much bigger, since he's a fruitcake."
