When he did, he flew up in his hovercraft to meet Shadow.

Shadow stood, unsmiling and in his normal pose of standing up straight with his arms folded. "I would like to ask you a question," he said, without premable, once Eggman was close enough to hear him. "Do you still have your Sonic robots at your sea base? Even if they were damaged when the sea base was destroyed, they could still be repaired. That is, if you still have them."

"Yeah, I should still have them. What have you got in mind?" Eggman asked, quirking one bushy brow at the dark hedgehog.

[Miranda_]

"Sending them over to show Mephiles and Iblis that they can't have everything their own way," Shadow replied, impassively. "Ashura, too."

[spirit_queen]

Eggman burst out laughing. "Brilliant! I'll fetch them and get them in working order!"

[Miranda_]

"Bring all of them cept for the Tails doll. That one sucked."

[spirit_queen]

Eggman winced and nodded. "Right. I'll be back."

[Miranda_]

"I'll be waiting," Shadow replied.

There were quite a few robots that Eggman had developed over the years; as well as three which resembled Sonic there was also a Tails doll and a Mecha Knuckles. They were different from the badniks which had animals trapped inside them as they were entirely robotic and had minds of their own.

Eggman gathered what was salvageable, minus the Tails Doll, and headed back up.

Shadow waited. He knew that Tails could very likely fix the robots that were damaged badly, and that they would get thru the barrier easily while they were damaged. As for after they were fixed, Eggman could quite easily create a moveable floor which could stand in the air; he'd done a similar thing, but on a far greater scale, for his Flying Battery. A smaller version would easily hold the newly repaired robots for when they couldn't get thru the barrier.
