Eventually, predictably, she did. She looked haggard and tired, but she gasped when se saw Silver as he was; vacant-eyed and shivering. "Silver!" she gasped and ran to him.

Ashura waited on Mephiles to make whatever move he planned.

Silver said nothing; he just stared around as tho he wasn't seeing anything.

Mephiles sent Iblis a mental signal to start fires around the forst, essentially trapping Silver and Blaze.

Blaze ran to Silver and embraced him.

[Miranda_]

Iblis did so; the fires sprang into life and leapt high in the air, making an effective wall around the couple.

[spirit_queen]

Blaze jumped an looked around herself wildly. "...the hell?" She was very tired, had been out of sorts for a while now, and wasn't sure she could deal with this, could get them both out safely.

As a result, she began to panic a bit, though she did a decent job of hiding most of it... but this panic opened up a channel, and Iblis would be able to sense it now.

[Miranda_]

Iblis sent a message to Mephiles, informing him of this fact.

Good. Keep the fires going for now; let's see if she can escape after all, Mephiles replied silently.

Blaze made a small path to a stream and dragged Silver with her to it; she wasn't a big fan of the water, but she didn't have the strength to obliterate this many flames, so the stream was the best bet.

Silver's shock went so deep, he was basically a dead weight. His only reaction to the flames which mirrored those he saw in his nightmares was to put his hands over his face.

Blaze wordlessly dragged him along, hoping the small stream would lead to something bigger...

And it eventually lead to he beachl She knew that the fires would be visible form Angel Island; she hoped someone would notice.

Shadow saw the fires and used his Chaos Control to zone in on them. He was sure that they were there for a purpose and he meant to find out what that was.
