"I'll fly you down now, and I'll hide while you speak with Ashura," Silver said. He gently picked up Sally and flew her down from Angel Island to Mobius, to the exact meeting place given in the message.

"Thank you," Sally said.

[Miranda_]

"I'll wait here; when the meeting's over, I'll come and fly you back up."

Ashura was waiting for Sally nearby. He was thinking about the last time he'd met Sally, altho that wasn't quite the right word, as he'd been capturing her and her rebels after the leveling of the forest.

Back then, Sally had gone willingly because she didn't want to lose anyone else in resisting, knowing that it would have been a futile effort. Now, the circumstances had changed a bit, and Sally did not plan on being so compliant this time around. She stiffened her shoulders and held her head high, and stepped forward to meet Ashura.

[Miranda_]

Ashura greeted Sally coldly. "You received the message, so you know what's at stake," he said.

"Yes, but you'll find that I won't give in quite so easily this time," Sally replied with just as much coldness as Ashura, her blue eyes flashing.

[Miranda_]

Ashura gave an indifferent shrug. "Then you don't care what happens to Nicole?"

[spirit_queen]

"Of course I do," Sally said. It was obvious she hated having her hand forced like this.

[Miranda_]

"In that case, I suggest you co-operate," Ashura replied. He studied Sally coldly. "What would you give to have Nicole back, safe and sound? What would she be worth to you?"

Saly glared at Ashura and took a step forward. "No more games. Just tell me your demands, and we'll go from there."
