Clare went to find Blaze.

"Would you?" asked Sally.

Blaze was still with Bokkun and was by the lean-tos.

[Miranda_]

"As soon as."

Bokkun was feeling a lot better and was pretty much recovered, but he was still miserable.

Clare walked up to Blaze. She told her what had happened at the meeting, and that Knuckles wanted to send Bokkun back with a message as soon as could be.

Blaze looked at Bokkun and said, "You're going to have to go back now, but, I promise, someday we'll fid a way to free you, okay? Believe me, I know what Iblis is like, having hosted him before..."

[Miranda_]

Bokkun didn't understand that part. He did, however, understand that he had to get back and stood up with a sigh. Clare handed him the message that she'd written for him to take back to Iblis and he put it in his bag.

Blaze didn't feel like explaining that part; with Iblis returned, it was a wound reopened, and very raw. She actually hugged Bokkun, though.

[Miranda_]

Clare did as well; she noted that Bokkun's fur was silky to the touch, rather than rough, so took comfort in the thought that Iblis couldn't be treating him that badly.

Bokkun then flew off the edge of the island, thru the shield and back down to the headquarters.

Mephiles was actually waiting for him.

[Miranda_]

Iblis had handed his brother the chain leash and had gone off to make sure that Nicole was safely locked away.

Bokkun reached the ground and immediately collapsed with exhaustion.

[spirit_queen]

Mephiles sneered a mouthless sneer, and, having no patience to wait for Bokkun to recover, dragged him inside and more or less tossed the kid onto a couch. "Now, report."
