"Well, go and tell those you think need to know most; I'd like to talk with some of the more prominent people here about it," Sally said.

Clare nodded and went off to do just that.

Sally headed toward the plinth, thinking tha would make an easy meeting place.

Practically everyone who needed to know the latest news was there, anyway.

There Sally waited for Clare, doing her best to look patient.

Clare soon came back. "Blaze is looking after the messenger," she said. "He'll have to go back eventually, tho; he's wearing a bomb collar that Iblis will activate if he doesn't return. Right now tho, she's giving him some water so that he'll actually make it all the way back. Everyone else tho should be along here in a minute."

"That's good; Nicole may be my friend, but the demands Mephiles is making affects everyone, so it should be properly discussed," Sally said.

Soon, everyone began to arrive at the meeting place.

After Sally was sure that everyone who was told arrived, she cleared her throat and sad, "Well, by now you've all heard the news of the kidnapping and ransom demands from Mephiles. I thought it would be best if we talked everything out before anyone who heard the news decided to be... rash," Sally said, thinking of Sonic upon saying that last part. "Anyways, I'd like to hear what everyone has to say on the matter."
