Sonic X - Chaos Control

"Not quite like that, I should think; more like the long quills Julie has. Otherwise, poor baby."

"But I think Silver's longer quills are cute, like pigtails... oh, okay, I get it... but it's a girl, anyways..." Angelica said. Angelica herself had long quills; not quite as long as the dread-style Julie and Knux had, but pretty close, and hers cured like a corksc.rew just at the very ends.

She was a bit self-conscious of her quills, often. "Do you think mine look weird, too?" she asked as she tugged at one of the curls at the end, attempting to straighten it and not getting anywhere close. (After all, quills are a lot stiffer than hair.)

"No, yours look fine," Manic said. "Anyway, it's weird thinking of Shadow with a kid. Doesn't quite fit."

" Thanks. He named her Maria, and he was holding her real happily... he might be a good father, if he didn't yell at people who saw him acting fatherly," Angelica said.

[Miranda_]

"That's probably too much to hope for. Then again, at least he didn't hit you. He'll probably hit Sonic before long."

[AaronShadows]

This was probably going to happen sooner rather than later, as Sonic was spying on Shadow quietly, waiting for him to do something he could take advantage of for a tasteless joke.

[Miranda_]

Shadow had finished feeding his daughter, and had laid her down in the cot he'd prepared for her while she'd still been in the egg. He was thinking about the Ark, and how he'd failed to save Maria. Things would be different with his own daughter; he vowed to protect her from everything in the world.

Angelica sighed and said, "I don't know Sonic too well, only met him briefly, but I don't doubt you on that at all... and not just because you're his brother."

[Miranda_]

Manic shrugged. "Sonic basically lives to annoy. He generally gets away with it, but not with Shadow and possibly Knuckles."

Rouge had gone on a spying mission. She was careful not to be seen, and collected some disturbing information.

"Yeah, I can see that... so far, I've been lucky, and haven't been bugged by Sonic..." Ang said.

Tails was sprawled out in the grass at this time, simply enjoying the wonderful day, and taking a break from his various projects.
