"Either that, or we'd have been taken prisoner and brought back to Mephiles' base," Silver said, shuddering at the thought.

[spirit_queen]

"I don't even want to know what they'd do to us there," Blaze said, her ears instinctively going back.

[Miranda_]

"Especially seeing as Ashura seems to be in charge of prisoners."

[spirit_queen]

"Yeah. We're lucky they can't get onto Angel Island," Blaze said.

[Miranda_]

"Ashura creeps me out a bit, to be honest. How can someone share the exact same genes as Sonic and yet me so completely different in personality?"

[spirit_queen]

"Personality and genes aren't really interlinked, Silver," Blaze said, settling Kieran inside her jacket to feed him.

[Miranda_]

"I know that, I'm not stupid," Silver said, sounding slightly annoyed. He was in a lot of pain, which made him more touchy than normal. "I didn't mean that, anyway, but if you're going to act so clever, then I'll just shut up and not say anything at all in future."

Blaze's tail twitched in annoyance and she turned away from him; she was similarly irritable.

[Miranda_]

"Fine, be like that." Silver got up. "Since you know best and won't listen to anything I say, I'll go and find someone who's not going to be a snob and will listen to my idea. Then you'll be sorry."

Silver walked off in a huff. He wasn't really sure about who to talk to, tho he was sure that what he'd thought of was worth considering. But he wasn't going to tell Blaze, not after she'd been so dismissing of what he was saying.
