Sonic X - Chaos Control

Mephiles wasn't surprised in the least to find his other half in the kitchen, searching for junk. "Iblis, I promise I'll find some- some chocolate or soemthing if you go and burn up all the trees Manic just uprooted for me." He paused. "And only the one uprooted; the living ones should be left alone."

Ghost already had a target in mind; a small town which had largely been ignored, due to having no significance. It was at the coast of the sea which Angel Island was hovering over.

Ghost left Mephiles' base, and began teleporting. Within ten minutes he was waiting outside the town walls, as a floating fortress drew closer.

He was going to enjoy this.

Ooc: I'm not entirely sure if this makes sense plotwise, but why not have the heroes defend the town in question? They need some action.

[Miranda_]

Ooc: Have Sonic notice then; he's always the one who notices this kind of thing. XD

"Sure," Iblis said. "I'll do that right away."

Mephiles nodded. "Good. When you're back, I will have your chocolate."

[Miranda_]

"You'd better." Iblis left to burn the deadwood in the forest, of which there was a considerable amount.

Mephiles rolled his eyes but said nothing.

Soon enough, Ghost's fortress was in position over the town, and was raining down terror and arrows.

Sonic had seen it approaching, and appeared beside Knuckles in a blue flurry. His expression was hard to read.

"There's a giant pumpkin floating over a walled town by the coastline."

[Miranda_]

"We'd better go down then," Knuckles said. "Any ideas as to how?"

[AaronShadows]

"Yeah. We run and jump."

Ooc: Real idea; Knuckles grabs a few Catapult traps and sets them up to launch everyone onto the mainland. Sound good-ish?

[Miranda_]

Ooc: Okies.

Knuckles rolled his eyes. "And then you go splat. A better idea would be if I set up my catapult traps to get us down there. If we're successful, we can borrow something from the town to get back up here, or maybe Finitevus can do a warp or something."
